Aug. 1
• An unknown person attempted to kick in a door of a residence in the 2000 block of State Street. The subject was unsuccessful as the deadbolt held, but there was damage to the door.
Aug. 2
• A vehicle was stopped near Cleveland and Division streets. The driver was cited and arrested for no brake lights, no seatbelt and driving while license suspended.
Aug. 3
• A resident heard a loud bang outside and saw a vehicle hit something, which caused the vehicle's airbag to deploy. The resident saw the drive walk away from the scene. The resident called police. The police arrived and did an accident report for the mailbox and tree the driver ran into. The driver was charged with DUI. The vehicle was towed.
Aug. 4
• An unknown person(s) broke into a car in the 1300 block of Prodehl and stole some items out of it. The subject(s) also cyphoned gas out of the gas tank.
Aug. 6
• A vehicle was stopped at 9th and Hamilton. The driver was cited for disobeying a traffic control device and driving while license suspended. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
Aug. 7
• A vehicle was stopped in the 1200 block of Tralee. Two juveniles were charged with possession of cannabis and the vehicle was towed.
