The saying goes: “Rock and roll will never die.” Perhaps that’s because the spirit of music is timeless, no matter what genre it takes. And as long as there are places like School of Rock in Mokena, music and the values it embodies will continue to pass along from one generation to the next.

Last week was national Teach Music Week, and School of Rock continued the tradition by not only teaching students the technical side of music, but also by emphasizing how music brings people together.
