Christmas is a time for receiving gifts as much as it is for giving them, especially for the young ones.

At William Butler Elementary School in Lockport, it was the fourth graders’ turn to go shopping for loved ones. Normally a whispery zone of scholarship, the school’s library briefly came to resemble a WalMart at 4 a.m. on Black Friday.
