I can still remember the taste of the buttery sweet caramels I often received from my mom and grandma during our day trips to Geneva as a little girl. Whether or not they were small bribes for behaving while they shopped didn’t matter to me.

Traveling to the far western suburb on the Fox River was something we did a few times a year. As an adult, I’ve had a chance to explore it a little more. The majority of my trips are often near Third Street in downtown Geneva, which is filled with a great mix of boutique shopping and restaurants.
