During the Committee of the Whole meeting Wednesday, Nov. 20, initial approval was granted to extend the City's current easement agreement with Chevron on the city owned Chevron property.

 Lockport currently leases a portion of the land to Chevron and the new agreement continues that arrangement for at least an additional three years, with the option to extend to five. However, after three both the city and Chevron have the option to terminate the agreement with six months' notice.
