A few years ago, the Lockport Township wrestling team brought home its third consecutive state trophy. That just happened to be the Class 3A state championship one.

Since going undefeated in winning that state title in 2017, the Porters have been shut out of a team trophy. They could have got one and deserved one with what they have done this season. But unfortunately, they got the wrong end of the draw in their state quarterfinal matchup last weekend.
