How does one churn butter? It’s a question most people nowadays have never pondered. But before the convenience of stores, many people churned their own butter, and this is just one thing that Elizabeth Gora and Mary Ridderhoff — two rising juniors at Romeoville High School — have been able to show people while volunteering at the Will County Historical Society and Heritage Village this past year.
