A 20-year-old man was hit and killed by a train Tuesday evening at the C-N railroad tracks at W. 2nd Street and State Street in Lockport.
Jacob A. Hegeduis, of Lockport, was pronounced dead at the scene at 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, according to a press release issued by the Will County Coroner at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21.
