A woman reportedly is in critical condition following a structure fire in unincorporated Lockport.

Lockport Township firefighters responded overnight Dec. 12 to a structure fire on the 1000 block of McCameron Avenue, according to a press release issued the morning of Dec. 13. by the Lockport Township Fire Protection District.

During the June 6 City Council meeting, officials voted unanimously to approve the final development plans and final subdivision plat for the Prologis industrial business park. The park is to be located west of Interstate 355, south of 143rd Street, east of Archer Avenue, and north of 151st Street. The 200-acre site will eventually include five buildings and was approved initially in 2017.

A Lockport man died Saturday, Jan. 16 after a snowmobile accident in Oneida County, Wisconsin, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.

Paul Burger, 45, died after the snowmobile he was operating hit a tree, according to a news release issued Sunday, Jan. 17 by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.

Burger, who was pronounced deceased at the scene, died from injuries as a result of the accident, according to the Oneida County Medical Examiner’s Office.
