It’s often said that behind every great man is a woman, but in the case of the presidency of Woodrow Wilson, it was the woman behind him who changed history forever, even if it was in secrecy. On Friday, Aug. 16, Chicago author William Hazelgrove brought one of those untold stories to Lockport branch of the White Oak Library District for the White Oak Author Tour with his book “Madam President: The Secret Presidency of Edith Wilson.”
