While creating an inventory of clothes in one of the many unexplored boxes at the Will County Historical Museum and Research Center, two Lockport residents, Christine Creadon and Susan Marbes, noticed the exquisite beauty of eight wedding gowns and decided that they deserved their own space.

Opened in February and running through 2021, the Wedding Dresses exhibit has gowns and tuxedos ranging from the 1800s to the 1950s.
