Each year Historic John Lane Farm, located at 16217 S. Gougar Road, celebrates the pivotal invention of the steel plow by its namesake with a weekend full of historic fun, farm-fresh produce, family-friendly activities and a craft and vendor fair at Historic John Lane Days.

This year's fourth annual event – held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 13 and 14 – also served as a unique way to slow down the clock, connect with nature and enjoy the local community.
