In lieu of P.E. class, fifth- and sixth-graders at Hadley Middle School learned how to save a life last week. 

Firefighters from the Homer Township Fire Protection District were at the school the week of Jan. 27 teaching the children the basics of life-saving CPR and how to use an automated external defibrillator, giving students two seminars throughout the week.
