There was no doubt who the best team was in girls tennis in the Blue Division of the SouthWest Suburban Conference this season.

That was Sandburg, which won five of the seven title matches in the SWSC Blue tournament, which was held on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Lincoln-Way East.

Due to rain, the tourney was played out on just Saturday.

But in a close contest for second place, it was the host Griffins that proved to be the best of the rest.
