The turnaround for the Lockport Township girls basketball program started a couple of years ago when the Porters won a regional championship and completed back-to-back winning seasons for the first time in a long time.

On the surface, it would be easy to say that last season’s 9-22 record was a big setback. But with many of the players returning from that team and an excellent showing in some of the summer shootouts, the expectations will be high when the Porters take the court in November.
