The Lockport Township High School District 205 administration is facing backlash from some parents over its recent decision to change its policy regarding class ranks and the awarding of valedictorian and salutatorian titles. The School Board voted unanimously at its Dec. 18 meeting to approve changes to the policy which would eliminate the valedictorian and salutatorian awards, as well as the public releasing of class ranks.
